Creativity and Innovation
The companies that have always the best in the long run are those who are the most creative and innovative. These are the ones who don’t copy what others do. They use innovative ideas from others as a spring board and co me up with a unique application.
This could be a product, or service for themselves. They usually distance themselves from the competition rather than compete with them. If they see another company copying what they do, they take some ideas and create something new and better. In other words, they leverage their creativity and their innovative capabilities to attain long-term success.
We could also be one of them. In fact, all companies and even individuals can be more creative and innovative no matter what their expertise, product, or service. When we apply creativity and innovation to every aspect of our business, we are able to stay ahead of a changing marketplace and the competition.
For this, we need to understand what creativity really is. This is a function of knowledge, curiosity, imagination, and evaluation. The greater our knowledge base and level of curiosity, the more ideas, patterns, and combinations we can achieve. This then correlates to creating new and innovative products and services. We must remember that merely having the knowledge does not guarantee the formation of new patterns. The bits and pieces must be thoroughly shaken up and iterated in new ways. These ideas must be evaluated and developed into usable ideas. In other words, there really is a process.
We shall teach how to integrate creativity and innovation in this dynamic, ever evolving, digital world.
